One-Eyed Grasshopper - Montréal, Canada 
While exploring some paths alongside the St-Lawrence river, I found this grasshopper which did not hop away when I approached it to take photos. I realized upon closer inspection that it had one damaged eye and therefore could not see anyone or anything coming from its left side. Poor grasshopper… This little guy was pretty big, about ~4 cm long.
