Higher Self - See on DeviantART - Buy the Print Every living being alive is more than their physical body. We are a soul having a physical experience, a soul which is forever connected to the universe and the light. This painting attempts to illustrate the higher self, also called greater self and oversoul, the part of us which contains the sum of all the knowledge and experience we have accumulated from our past lives and through our connection with the cosmos. By opening our hearts and our minds, we can access the higher self’s divine knowledge.

Lady Crow, patrons of crows, messenger of death.  Ravens and crows in human history and culture have been associated with death, war and souls, but they were also known to be messengers and, in several native legends, trickster gods.  This painting is a remake of The Crow, dating from December 2008.
